PM Employee Monitor Installation Guide

PM Employee Monitor is extremely simple to install. You don't need to be an experienced system administrator to get the product up and running. It has been designed and programmed to make your life easy. We understand that a simple installation experience is crucial to creating a powerful product. Simply launch the program and you are on your way to securing your computers and increasing user productivity.


How to Install PM Employee Monitor

Note! The program has to be installed on the computer you want to control locally.

You can install the program from any user account on a computer with administrator rights. During the installation, the program automatically detects all other user accounts and installs on them.

1. Download the latest version of the program.

2. Double-click the PM Employee Monitor installer file.

3. When the Setup Wizard launches, click Next to continue.

4. Review the License Agreement, select I accept the agreement, then click Next to continue.

5. Choose an installation folder or accept the default folder.

6. Specify if you want the program creates a Start menu folder or desktop icon, then click Install.

7. Click Finish to complete the installation and launch the program.

Note! You don't need to reboot the computer after the installation.

The installation takes a few seconds. After it, PM Employee Monitor runs in the background. It tracks computer activities, filters websites and applications that you have specified, and does not slow down the computer. By defaults, the program runs automatically when computer starts up, so you don't need to launch the program manually.


Configuring PM Employee Monitor

After the installation, configure the filters and program settings to completely adjust the program to your needs.

To limit amount of time users can spend on specified websites and applications, please configure the time limits feature.

PM Employee Monitor is fully customized program. It tracks all computer activities by default, however you can specify what computer activities have to be recorded or not. Customize the monitoring feature, to record only activities you want.

To configure the application for different user account on your computer, please configure the User Profiles tab.

Reports of monitored computer activities (websites, applications, keystrokes, top ten statistics) can be viewed locally from the program interface, sent to your email or uploaded to your FTP server. To receive logs, please configure remote reporting.

The default hotkeys to access PM Employee Monitor is CONTROL+ALT+SHIFT+Z and the default work to launch the program from the RUN Dialog Box is MONITOR. Once you access the software you can change the hotkeys.
